About

Coventry Artspace was incorporated in 1991 and became a charity in 2009.

We run arts projects and events and provide services to visual artists from across the region that live or work in Coventry and the surrounding area. Our core work, which is kindly supported by Coventry City Council, is to provide affordable spaces for visual artists to work and exhibit in, and opportunities for their development through networking meetings and monthly drop-ins.

We also seek out further opportunities to raise the profile of the visual arts and artists through partnership projects with other organisations in the city and beyond.  Through these projects we look particularly to build community and wellbeing in the city and extend engagement with the visual arts. Currently we also provide an artist residency for a recent graduate.  This includes a free studio space for up to 12 months, a solo exhibition, mentoring support and studio visits from Artspace trustees and associates.
