The Twin at Arcadia
October 5 @ 11:00 am - November 24 @ 5:00 pm
We are really excited to be hosting this Coventry Biennial group exhibition in Arcadia through October and November.
There is work from six exciting artists, including Dead Drops by Aram Bartholl, an anonymous, offline, peer-to-peer file-sharing network which the public is invited to engage with via their own electronic devices. Artist Amy Guo investigates the relationship between human and digital technologies by considering the ways that our social interactions with others are mediated through technology. There is also work by Maud Cotter, Nicky Hirst, Uriel Orlow and Mhairi Vari.
The exhibition also draws fresh attention to traces of the previous exhibitions and site-specific artworks made in the space since it opened in 2014. These layered histories resonate with the themes explored by the artists including the passage of time and its social and personal impact, storage, life, death and states of change.
