Artists’ First Thursday Meeting

On the first Thursday of each month we invite any artist visiting or living in the city to join us from 1-2.30pm for a general catch up. Sadly, given Covid-19 restrictions we are not currently able to meet in our artist shared area on Floor 11 of Eaton House. Instead we are doing these meetings via Zoom. We do not publish the zoom invite on-line for security reasons, but send it out in our Artist Listings monthly newsletters. It is the same link every month. Alternatively artists can email us on mail@coventry-artspace.co.uk with FIRST THURSDAY LINK REQUEST in the subject line and the link is sent to them directly.

These meetings are intended to help artists connect with each other and also provide an opportunity for us to update artists with our latest information and activities, and hear from them about their ideas and experiences of working in the city. We often choose a particular topic to discuss. Recently this has included:  Artist Pay; Experiences of Lockdown; Coventry Biennial updates; City of Culture updates.
