The Visualising the City: City Arcadia project took place between June 2014 and June 2016 and was funded primarily by Arts Council England and Coventry City Council. The aim of the project was to celebrate the City of Coventry as a place of innovation and a test bed for new ideas, allowing artists from within the city and beyond to explore the modernist urban landscape, history and personality of the city. Explore these pages to find out more about the exciting work and events that were produced. A key legacy of the project is the City Arcadia Shop Front Gallery which continues to provide a exhibition space to champion contemporary art that speaks of and to the city of Coventry.
