The Art of Coventry was a programme of events designed to support and develop artists and curators. Season 1 ran from May – July 2018 and Season 2 from September to November 2018. Events included curator talks and practical workshops and was supported by visiting art works, including Sam Bellinfante’s Accordion, Camara Taylor’s Flutter, Toni Buckby’s Interlace Project and an exhibition of Shirley Baker images of older women entitled Backbone.
The Art of Coventry programme was kindly subsidized by Arts Council England and Coventry City Council and supported by Coventry University, New Art West Midlands, CET Pop Up and Spon Spun.
