Indira Lakshmi Artist Talk

Join Indira as she discusses the relationship between art, technology and our environment. She will delve into how she uses different digital and anologue technologies to explore the external (and internal) world, and the possibilities of tech as a connective force.
Indira is formally trained in sculpture, however her practice branches into soft sculpture, drawing, digital, audio and performance practices. Conceptually her work is concerned with the body and our physiological and psychological relationship with the world around us, moreover the effects of the contemporary capitalist era on the self.
This talk accompanies the Artist On My Street Exhibition (27 May – 11 June) at Arcadia Gallery, 32 City Arcade, Coventry CV1 3HW.
