Ahead of the installation of Accordion by Sam Belinfante at The CET Building this workshop will look at preparing a space for exhibition and will include an introduction to basic public facing health and safety and building and painting walls and gallery furniture. This session will start with an introduction to handling art and using tools.
Course Leader Ryan Hughes has installed exhibitions in various locations for festivals, galleries, museums and theatres including Fierce Festival, Ikon Gallery, Symphony Hall, Coventry Artspace Partnerships, Spon Spun, The Pod//Collective and many others. He is also the founder and Director of the Coventry Biennial and has curated exhibitions and events programmes in various locations including MK Gallery, Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum, Coventry Artspace Partnerships and non-art spaces including botanical gardens, mountain sides, places of worship as well as online and in print.
