Beauty & Chaos in Arcadia: A DigiPoems Installation

From 19 – 30 October 2021, Coventry Artspace will host BEAUTY and CHAOS – an exhibition of animation, poetry, and ideas curated by mixed practice artist Ije. The exhibition will be the culmination of collaborations during lockdown in 2021 between Coventry and Southern African creatives. Comexposed (Zimbabwe) and Page Poetry Alive (Zimbabwe) will present six new DigiPoems films and poetry readings virtually, sharing work by African and UK artists in collaboration for audiences in Coventry. Coventry Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre (CRASAC) will be hosting an exhibition of survivor artwork to mark forty years of supporting to victims and survivors of sexual violence in Coventry. CRASAC is a rape crisis centre which provides specialist counselling, advocacy and emotional support services to all those who have been affected by rape or sexual violence at any time in their lives.
